Get ready for an unforgettable American Thanksgiving celebration with the annual "Turkey Bowl" Touch Football Extravaganza on November 23rd, 2023.

 

What started as a small touch football game back in 2013 at Majors Hill Park has now grown into an iconic event, and this year, we're taking it to new heights at TD Place at Lansdowne to accommodate our ever-growing roster of participants.

Event Highlights:

  • Touchdowns and Tradition: Join us on American Thanksgiving for a day filled with exhilarating touch football matches that capture the essence of the holiday as teams compete for The Gunner Trophy.

  • Co-ed Teams: In the spirit of inclusivity and camaraderie, all participating teams must be co-ed. Team up with your friends, family, or coworkers for a day of friendly competition.

  • Registration: Secure your spot by registering your co-ed team for $100. Each team should consist of 6-10 players ready to tackle the competition (6 players on the field during games)

  • Players Lounge with Bar: Take a break from the action and relax in our dedicated Players Lounge, complete with a bar serving up your favorite refreshments and beverages.

  • All-Day After Party: After the tournament, head over to The Senate Tavern on Bank in Old Ottawa South for a day of football spectating. Watch a thrilling NFL triple-header featuring:

    • Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions at 12:30 PM

    • Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 PM

    • San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks at 8:20 PM

  • Food Sponsor - Smoque Shack: Enjoy a mouthwatering turkey-themed menu curated by our friends at The Smoque Shack, to keep you fueled throughout the day.

  • Prizes and Trophies: Competitive teams will have the opportunity to win prestigious titles
